The ‘glitter-car-ti’ from all over the world gathered on the manicured lawns of West London’s Syon House for Salon Privé, Europe’s premier ’boutique’ automotive event last week.
Some of the finest and most historic cars and bikes took part in the ‘Concours’ d’elegance’ or motoring beauty pageant, vying for attention with the new exotic and supercars displayed or launched over the three days.
Motoring Madam enjoyed the free-flowing Pommery (though only one glass as was driving!) and the lobster luncheon and the finery of fellow guests who had put on their gladrags – and in some cases hats or fascinators - to win the coveted Ladies’ Day prize of a Boodles diamond necklace.
